Emmy award-winning comedian John Mulaney is returning to Netflix with a special live series titled John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s In L.A.
The six episode series, created by and starring Mulaney, will stream live during this year’s Netflix Is A Joke Festival. The first episode will debut on Netflix May 3 at 10/9c, and new episodes will stream live nightly from May 6 through May 10.
The “comically unconventional” show will follow Mulaney as he “explores the city of Los Angeles during a week when every funny person is in it,” per a Netflix press release. The show is also expected to feature special guests and field pieces shot in Los Angeles.
While the special guests have yet to be revealed, a teaser released by Netflix today promised “people equal to, but not necessarily: Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and David Letterman.”

Conan O’Brien is returning to The Tonight Show stage after his unceremonious exit over a decade ago. The beloved talk show host is slotted to appear as a guest on next Tuesday’s (April 9) episode to promote his upcoming travelogue series Conan O’Brien Must Go.
Debuting on Max on April 18, the new series will be the comedian’s first TV venture since his talk show, Conan, ended in June 2021 after 11 seasons.
Nicole Richie and musician Benson Boone will also share the screen on Tuesday night’s episode.
O’Brien briefly hosted The Tonight Show for two seasons from 2009 to 2010 until he was fired and promptly replaced by former host Jay Leno. The comedian’s firing came soon after NBC suggested pushing The Tonight Show to a later time slot of 12:05 p.m. in order to accommodate an 11:35 p.m. airtime for the short-lived Jay Leno Show.

Get excited, Peaky Blinders fans. A new addition to the critically acclaimed BBC franchise is coming soon, and it will feature fan favorite Birmingham gangster Tommy Shelby, played by Oscar-winning actor Cillian Murphy.
The rumors of Murphy reviving his role in the new feature-length film were confirmed by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight during a Tuesday (March 19) interview at the premiere of his new show, This Town.
“He is definitely returning for it,” Knight revealed to Birmingham World, per Variety. “We’re shooting it in September just down the road in Digbeth.”
The news comes not long after the star spoke about his future in the franchise after its series finale in April 2022. Speaking to The Irish Star, Murphy said, “I have always said that if Knight delivers a script that I know he can deliver, because he is such a phenomenal writer, I’ll be there. If we want to watch 50-year-old Tommy Shelby, let’s do it.”

Star Wars leading actress Daisy Ridley says that instead of flourishing, her career actually faltered after she appeared in the sequel trilogy, which ended in December 2019.
Although the film series was massively successful — its first installment, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, earned 2.066 billion at the box office, while the second and third installments, Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017) and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019) also raked in impressive earnings — its success didn’t last for Ridley.
“There weren’t that many offers coming in,” Ridley said at a SXSW panel on Sunday (March 10), per Variety. “It’s not that there wasn’t any… I remember finishing and thinking, ‘Oh, it’s quiet and strange.'”
Of course, one year after her final Star Wars film was released, the world was plunged into lockdown because of COVID-19, meaning Riley and many of her peers in the film and TV industries saw their lives and work put on pause.

The wait for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) is (almost) over for Swifties. Today, Disney+ released the official trailer for the concert film, teasing new songs and bonus content from her most iconic tour yet.
While Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) was originally set to debut on Disney+ March 15, it seems that even Taylor Swift couldn’t contain her excitement as the film is now expected to release on March 14, one day earlier than anticipated.
Disney’s original press release also revealed that the film would include the fan-favorite track “Cardigan” from Folklore, as well as four other acoustic songs. Swifties expressed excitement for an expanded version of the setlist since five songs were scrapped from the original version of the film.
Fans also theorized which songs would be included in the expanded version. Since the film was recorded during Swift’s three concerts at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Swifties speculated that the three other bonus tracks would be ones she performed those nights.
